The first step in achieving SQF certification is understanding the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code – Edition 10 and how they apply to your facility. Many manufacturers already have key food safety programs in place, but additional evaluation is often needed to identify gaps and ensure full compliance.
This course is designed for SQF practitioners and those responsible for developing, implementing, verifying, and maintaining the site’s SQF system. Through practical, hands-on activities, you will learn how to align your existing programs with Edition 10 requirements and build a system that supports continuous improvement and a strong food safety culture.
Participants will explore the foundations of the SQF Code, system elements, and good industry practices, while developing the skills needed to prepare for certification and maintain an effective SQF system.
