Aaron K. Edwards

Aaron K. Edwards is a seasoned global food industry executive with more than 20 years of leadership across the ingredients, food, and nutrition sectors. His career spans North America, Europe, and Asia and includes extensive commercial, operational, and M&A experience, grounded in academic training in food science.

Before joining AIB International, Aaron served as President of the Performance & Protection Business Unit at Vibrant Ingredients (formerly Florida Food Products), the world’s largest PE-backed natural ingredient supplier. He led commercial and operational teams and integrated four acquisitions while elevating customer experience and enterprise-wide performance.

Aaron previously spent 25 years at Ingredion Incorporated, where he led specialty ingredient businesses of increasing scale in the U.S., Japan, Southeast Asia, and the U.K. His leadership drove successful business turnarounds, innovation-led growth, and the strategic shift from commodity to specialty ingredients in North America, delivering significant margin and revenue expansion.

He holds an M.S. in Food Science from Cornell University and a B.S. from the University of Tennessee, where he graduated summa cum laude. Aaron brings a growth-driven, customer-centric approach that empowers AIB International to deliver deeper expertise and faster, more meaningful impact. His leadership ensures our clients stay ahead of regulatory expectations, market demands, and the evolving challenges of food safety.
