The BRCGS Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP) allows brand owners to:

  • Differentiate their gluten-free products
  • Meet the stringent requirements of managing gluten
  • Bolster their food safety programs

We offer an industry and consumer accepted certification program that brings confidence to your products. Your GFCP audit can be combined with any other GFSI audit.

AIB International meets all licensing requirements with the accredited schemes and our accreditation bodies to conduct accredited GFSI audits.   Those that are not accredited by GFSI offered are SQF Fundamentals, BRCGS Ethical Trading, BRCGS Plant-Based Standards, BRCGS START! and BRCGS Gluten-Free.

We will inspect your entire manufacturing facility or focus on a dedicated area in the GFCP audit.

  • The typical duration for a standalone Global Standard Gluten-Free audit is 1.5 to 2 days depending on the nature and complexity of the site’s operation.
  • When a combined with a BRCGS Food Safety audit, or another GFSI audit, the duration allocated for the gluten-free portion is only an additional 0.5 days.

Globally-Recognized Certification

AIB International has been approved to conduct audits by BRCGS which acquired Allergen Control Group, administrator of the GFCP in 2018.

BRCGS published Issue 4 of the Standard in 2024 and is accredited under ISO 17065. The Standard is endorsed by Acelmex in Mexico, AOECS in Europe, Beyond Celiac in the United States and by the Canadian Celiac Association. We will inspect your entire manufacturing facility or focus on a dedicated area in the GFCP audit.

Certification is provided by AIB International Certification Services, a wholly owned subsidiary and separate company. Use of AIB International’s consulting and training services does not influence certification outcome.
